Today I did a lot of reference cleaning and organization. Added several papers by Falempin, Boyce, Lewis, etc. to names list. Tomorrow I want to do some editing in the actual thesis.

Today I began going through and editing the thesis to finish incomplete sections, references, and figures. I am not going to be adding much more in hopes that I can get a final copy to Dr. Majdalani before I leave so that he can begin to go through for critique. I met with Dr. Majdalani for about an hr to discuss these things, and we agree. We decided that most of the appendix could be left out. What I am thinking is maybe adding it to the conclusions or at the end of each chapter. Of course, it would probably be a bulleted style and must be complete and flow nicely with the rest of the thesis. Dr. Majdalani would like to see the historical section become complete, but not necessarily for the thesis. I will try my hardest, but it is a very low priority as of now. Hopefully, I can schedule my defense the next time I am in Tullahoma in about 3-4 weeks.

Got quite a bit done today. I am meticulously going through Chapter 1, the introduction, and added missing pieces. Trying not to stay too long on one thing or go overboard. I was able to add a figure and finish the section over viscous interactions and I completely finished the section over the entropy layer and vorticity including a figure. Added a few more papers too.
Total = 1 hrs 49 min + 2 hrs 2 min + 1 hr + 3 hrs = 7 hrs 51 min

From Friday to Sunday I worked on the thesis, of course. Chapter 2 has been rearranged and cleaned up and is looking very good. Still need to add a couple of figures to Chapter 2 and would like to add a few minor things if time allows this week. I went throught the rest of the chapters and cleaned them up a little. Still need a few figures and references entered as well. On Monday I expect to implement the corrections I have made/noted on paper and plan to begin to clean up chapter 5, which needs the most work at this time besides the conclusions. I feel very good about the thesis at this point and seems to be on track with the plan of turning in a copy for Dr. Majdalani to review by Friday.

I have been working on Chapter 2. Adding a few things (type, figures, etc.), rearranging, trying to make this chapter flow nicely.
